Faktor is a Mac app that keeps an eye out for new 2FA codes and gives you a great autocomplete experience in Google Chrome.
Every day, we get 2FA codes sent to our phones, and we all know how annoying it is to switch between apps to get the code and then copy/paste it into the right place.
Faktor solves this problem by giving you a great autocomplete experience in Google Chrome with the help of our macOS app that keep an eye out for new 2FA codes.
Enter your 6-digit authentication code
For your security, we sent a code to (***)***-1234.

Faktor works by listening for new 2FA codes on your Mac by hooking into iMessage. When it detects a new code, it sends it to Google Chrome via our Chrome extension. When you are on a website that requires a 2FA code, Faktor will autocomplete the code for you.
Why isn't Faktor free?We spent hours reverse-engineering iMessage to get this to work, so why not support a small company that makes your life easier and more productive?
Faktor needs access to your Mac's library folder, where the iMessages are stored, and permission to send notifications.
Does Faktor send my text messages to servers/services?No. Faktor does not send your text messages or data to servers or external services. Everything runs locally.
Faktor works with iOS devices and macOS 13 and up.
Which browsers does Faktor work with?Faktor works with Google Chrome, Arc, and Brave. Other Chromium-based browsers might also work, but we have not validated this.
How do I get support?Contact us at hello@getfaktor.com, and we will get you going.
